MARLENE HOLSCLAW - The joy of learning has enabled Marlene Holsclaw to come alongside children and adults. She brings people from where they were to a new place of understanding and application by providing assessment and development tools: helping people and organizations focus on their strengths while also helping them become aware of and change unhealthy situations, personal issues or challenging circumstances.​​Twenty some years ago, one of her four children said, "Mom I sure hope you don't become an angry, bitter old lady." Startled, Marlene wondered what prompted that. She decided right then and there to make certain she would not allow the present marriage situation and the personal issues of her own that were then surfacing or any other challenging circumstances (which she refers to as 'rude awakenings') to shape her into "a bitter old lady". Marlene finds great joy in sharing what she has learned about getting off the bitter path and firmly, intentionally forging a spiritual journey of becoming a vibrant and wiser older woman.​Marlene has love and passion for encouraging people on their own personal journey, finding the "you are here" sign in their lives, then looking at life's map, listening to where they want to go and putting in place strategies and tactics that make arrival at the new place possible.
