CORY SCHORTZMAN'S highest degree of education is a Master’s degree in Counseling from Denver Theological Seminary. He received his undergraduate degree from Doane College, located in Crete, Nebraska. Cory holds licenses with the State of Colorado and Nebraska. He is also a member of the National Board of Certified Counselors, as well as a certified Sexual Recovery Therapist through the American Association for Sex Addiction Therapy (AASAT). Cory resides in Colorado with his beautiful wife and four children.

KERRY SCHORTZMAN is the wife of Cory Schortzman. She has traveled the road of recovery alongside her husband through the wildfires of intimacy, emotional and sexual anorexia. She has a heart and passion to see healing and restoration in relationships and marriages as well as help individuals live an abundant life in Christ. ​
Kerry currently works for Transformed Hearts Counseling Center, Inc. and has authored the book and workbook, Ashes to Beauty, specifically designed for women who are partners of intimacy, emotional and/or sexual anorexics or those who struggle with similar issues themselves.
