What is the Annual Couple's Conference?

 

The Transformed Hearts Annual Couple's Conference is a Christian-based weekend getaway that will give you the opportunity to spend quality time building intimacy with your spouse, delve deeper into the Word of God, hear from phenomenal speakers, worship and fellowship with other believers, all while enjoying the relaxing Hideaway Inn & Conference Center in beautiful Colorado Springs, Colorado.

​Primarily, attendees will be involved in numerous engaging and interactive large group sessions.  We encourage participants to ask questions and work through the material together with their significant other.  We will also have breakout sessions for both men and women to share with members of the same gender. 

​ 

Please come prepared to work on your relationship.  Expect God and His power to do a work in your individual lives as well as your relationship.  This weekend is about transforming hearts and equipping you with additional tools you can apply throughout your recovery process in order to improve intimacy with your partner.

 

What is included in the price?

 

The cost is $895 per couple, which includes a 2-night stay at The Hideaway, four meals per person as well as the conference seminars and required reference materials. A non-refundable registration fee of $250 will be required to reserve your room. Space is limited to the first 22 couples who register. Early bird registration ends April 30, 2014. After that time, the cost will increase to $995 per couple. ​As part of your registration fee, The Hideaway will provide a Breakfast Buffet on Saturday as well as lunch in the dining room. Breakfast and lunch will also be served on Sunday. We encourage each couple to dine out on Friday and Saturday evening. There are many fine dining establishments within 15 to 20 minutes of The Hideaway. Coffee, tea, ice water and hot chocolate will be available throughout the entire conference.

What are the terms & agreements?

 

The Hideaway Inn & Conference Center Policies

 

ALCOHOL POLICY: No alcohol is allowed on the property during this event. ​​​

 

CHECKOUT POLICY: Overnight room check out is at 10 a.m. ​​

 

DAMAGE POLICY: Any damage to the property will be charged to your account. A clean up charge due to carelessness will be a minimum of $30. ​​

 

FOOD POLICY: The Hideaway will be providing breakfast and lunch on Saturday, as well as brunch on Sunday. No food from outside sources is allowed during these meals unless a specific arrangement has been approved. ​​

 

GRATUITY POLICY: No gratuity is included or expected. If you feel you have received great service and want to leave a note or gratuity, it is greatly appreciated and will be delivered to the staff. ​

 

INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICY: We are unable to provide refunds due to inclement weather unless state or interstate highways between your point of origin and The Hideaway have been officially closed by the state patrol.

PET POLICY: There are no pets allowed on the property.

​

SMOKING POLICY: Smoking is only allowed in designated areas, not inside or near open doors or windows. A minimum of $25 will be charged for violations.

 

Transformed Hearts Counseling Center Policies

 

FINANCIAL POLICY:  The early bird registration fee is $795 per couple, which must be received no later than April 30, 2014. Reservations received on or after May 1, 2014 will increase to $895 per couple. 

​

RESERVATION POLICY:  Reservations will be confirmed upon receipt of the non-refundable deposit of 250 U.S. dollars and signed 2014 Hideaway Couple's Conference Registration Form.  If paying by credit or debit card, the non refundable registration fee of $250 will be billed upon receipt of the form.  If the non-refundable deposit is not received within 7 days of the date the form is sent, your reservation will be null and void. The remaining fee will be due and billed 60 days prior to the event, which will be Monday, September 15, 2014.

CANCELLATION POLICY:  You must provide written notification of your cancellation within 60 days prior to the event.  Upon cancellation, you also forfeit the non refundable deposit of 250 U.S. dollars.  If your cancellation is not received 60 days prior to the event, you will be charged the remaining balance on the credit or debit card you provide on your registration form.

SPA (HOT TUB) USAGE:  Due to the sensitive nature of our conference, we highly encourage couples to sign up for a specific timeslot to utilize one of the two designated spas on the Hideaway property.  We do not recommend couples mingle in the spas together and, therefore, request each couple to utilize the spas in privacy.  Each of the designated spas are conveniently located throughout the property and provide adequate privacy.

 

Can we bring our children?

 

This is a couple's only event.  We try to provide an atmosphere to promote intimacy between you and your partner.  Some of the sessions are emotionally challenging, so we want you to be able to focus on one another.  We do not encourage couples to bring along children. 

 

Which airport do you recommend?

 

Your inbound flight to either of the two airports listed below should arrive prior to 3:30 p.m. (MST) on Friday, November 14, 2014, to ensure you have plenty of time to unpack and refresh prior to the Opening Session of the Hideaway Couple’s Conference at 5:00 p.m. (MST). Your outbound flight to your local airport can depart anytime after 2 p.m. (MST) on Sunday, November 16, 2014.

How do we obtain transportation to The Hideaway?

 

You will need to arrange for your own transportation. We recommend renting a car.  Once your registration has been processed, you will receive a confirmation packet via email.  In this packet, you will receive driving directions from each of the airports listed above.

 

When will we receive the schedule?

 

You will receive a tentative conference schedule in the conference confirmation packet you receive via email within 2-3 business days after the receipt of your registration form.  However, at the event, you will receive a Conference Booklet, which will contain the final schedule. The schedule provides a list of all of the scheduled events with times and locations listed.

 

What type of clothing should we bring?

 

We recommend casual, cool/cold attire. In November, the Colorado Springs area has an average high temperature in the low 50's and average low temperature in the high 20's. Be sure to bring comfortable walking shoes if you plan to hike around the area as well as a light sweater or jacket.

 

How do we gain access to the event?

 

When you arrive, a Transformed Hearts staff member or volunteer will be at the front door to greet you.  You will then be provided with a name badge that you will be required to wear to gain access to all the general and breakout sessions throughout the conference.

 

Can you accommodate special needs?

 

Dietary Needs

If you have any special dietary needs, such as dairy free, gluten free, or vegetarian, please notify us via your registration form or online registration to ensure your needs are accommodated.  The Hideaway will make every effort to meet your dietary needs for the meals included in our conference.

If you have any special needs, such as walking difficulties, disabilities, specific requests or other needs we need to take into consideration, please notify us as soon as possible.  We will make every effort to accommodate you and make you as comfortable as possible.

 

Financial Needs

The $250 non-refundable deposit will be billable upon receipt of your registration. All additional payments will be divided by the remaining total amount due and processed on the credit card you provide during registration based on the payment plans listed below.  Please indicate your preferred payment plan as well as provide your billing information for all future payments on your registration form or by calling our office at (719) 590-1350.
