"When my husband and I came for the Transformed Hearts weekend, we were so broken - shattered to be exact. There was nothing left. Nothing remained. Now, God has swept up the shattered glass of our marriage and promised us a brighter future if we seek Him."
"Thanks for continuing this conference again, it just keeps getting better every year. For me, the weekend was about flipping the lens on so many ideas and attitudes. It started with The Dream Giver reading that suggested rather than view fear of risking a big dream as stopping us, to see it as causing us to have no choice but to trust God in a big way and keep our eyes on Him, giving us back our dreams. Cory, Kerry, and Jim all had messages about turning bitterness, resentment and accusation into forgiveness, responsibility and acceptance. The connection was made between an unhealed heart and our fear-based choices. (The Victim Cycle into the Victor Cycle.) I haven't stopped thinking about Marlene's message to have our pity party but invite Jesus and allow Him to turn it into a Pearl Party. Doug's message was powerful showing us being objects vs. being intimate. The Perkins and the Father's Blessing is always a highlight and starts healing so many wounds. The most profound change I saw were the faces of a couple. When first meeting them, his face was downcast in shame and her's tear-stained, heavy with pain. By Sunday, his face was turned up in worship with his arms lifted, accepting grace. Her face again tear-stained but bright with forgiveness and hope. True Transformation!" (2013)

2012 | 2nd Annual Couple's Conference | Joy Ahead
"Thank you so much again for a beautiful weekend at the Hideaway! God is using both of you to draw the hurting to the One who heals to bring truth to lives, to restore dignity and save marriages. He is using your humilty and brokenness, which is beautiful. Kerry, you ae creating a safe home in heart and location for Cory to be a man after God's heart and the healing your book, "Ashes to Beauty" has brought to myself and so many others, as well as encouragement. Cory, your passion to learn and grow, even in uncomfortable terrain, to make yourself better so you can help the hurting heal and come to wholeness, pure love and humility, a friend walking beside a friend. The verses that come to mind are I Timothy 1:5 "But the goal of our instruction i slove from a pure heart and a good conscience and a sincere faith." 2 Cor. 3:2,3 "You are our letter, written in our hearts, known and read by all men, being manifested that you are a letter of Christ, written not with ink but with the Spirit of the Living God, not tablets of stone but on tablets of human hearts." All these people at the conference were touched by you, and marriages saved. They are your letters. They are witness of a great God using you gloriously." (2012)

It was refreshing to hear Cory present research and thoughts about mind/body/heart/soul connections he was still exploring. We can't imagine a better way to encourage us to become life long learners than to get comfortable with being uncomfortable. Sean and Tiffin Perkin's testimonies and Father's Blessing exercise is worth the weekend alone. We would definitely attend again. The most powerful weekend since our intensive."
