Sarah Thiessen is the director of the Splankna Therapy Institute in Denver, Colorado. She is a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist and a Licensed Professional Counselor and runs a private practice as well as directing the institute.  She holds an Undergraduate degree in Youth and Family Ministry and a Masters degree in Marriage & Family Therapy from Abilene Christian University.  She is a Clinical Member of the American Association of Marriage & Family Therapists and the American Association of Christian Counselors.  In 1998, she began developing a Biblically based protocol for Energy Psychology.  She formed the Splankna Therapy Institute in 2005 to offer training and certification for Christian counselors. She is passionate about redeeming the field of energy psychology for the kingdom of God and seeing the Body of Christ fully activated to engage their gifts and callings.  In 2011, she published Splankna:  the redemption of energy psychology for the kingdom of God.  She is a prolific trainer, speaker and author. She lives in Parker, Colorado with her husband and three children.
